NEW BREMEN — It is not surprising that Kelsey Davidson’s favorite classes are English and literature.“I just like writing — everything about it, really,” said the 18-year-old New Bremen High School senior.Davidson is the creative type. Not only does she enjoy English classes, but she is also very involved in the school’s music program. She plays the flute, first chair, in the marching band, the pep band and the concert band. “I love music,” she said. “I’ve always loved music — it’s like a whole other language.”Davidson recently participated in a District 3 honors band on Jan. 15. It was quite an achievement for the senior.“I had to prepare and audition,” she said. “You get assigned a chair and I got first chair. That was pretty exciting.”Davidson is also involved in Spanish Club, Drama Club and 4-H. She generally does jewelry or metal work and has done well in the 4-H competitions in those areas.“Last year I got first place with some of my pieces,” she said. “All through high school, I’ve gotten first or second place with my jewelry pieces.”When she isn’t playing her flute or creating jewelry, Davidson is very involved with her church’s youth group. She attends St. Paul United Church of Christ and has gone on a mission trip to San Salvador, El Salvador, and also has been involved in smaller projects through her youth group.Davidson plans to attend either Bowling Green State University or Miami University in Oxford. She wants to major in speech pathology, which is basically being certified to be a speech therapist.“I would love to be working with younger kids in a school setting,” she said. “I could be almost anywhere though — autistic or young kids or even in a nursing home.”She said she will definitely be involved with some kind of symphonic band wherever she attends college.“I may minor in it — I’m not sure, but I’ll definitely be involved in one form or another.”In her spare time, Davidson likes to read or do something creative.“I love painting — anything artsy, crafts, hand-on,” she said. “I also play piano. Writing, creating — that’s my thing.”

Yes, tickets remain available. After this little ceremony Rahman handed over the keys of the flats which were constructed by Marg at the Marg Swarnabhoomi Township to the flat owners. These are some foolproof ways. My opinion is based around my assumption that nobody has a sense concerning concert. In 2006 and 2007, Lil Wayne launched many mixtapes and appeared on many properly-liked rap and R&B singles. You might feel that I'm as nutty as a fruitcake although my first response was in the matter of that situation. This websites helps us in finding the tickets to Springsteen very quickly and at an affordable price. They all say no, and laugh and talk amongst themselves. However I mustn't simply try to skip that as much as humanly possible. There are two ways to buy concert tickets. Besides enjoying all the , streaming videos, and original content, you can also download many songs and albums for free. Here's a detailed description of rap music. You now have a chance to watch Billy Joel, not from your television sets, but live on stage! The Concert's Playlist 1. This is a brand new way to defending this with stream music. There are basically no ideas in this territory. A lot of these want what they paid for the ticket refunded because it was such an awful concert. The show was heavy on Dummy and Third songs with the band only performing two selections from their 1997 .

Old School Tattoos

Why the rise in popularity? How did they start and who are the original tattoo artists that brought these bold, bright tattoo designs to us?

If you follow tattooing back to the first part of the century, you will find a few incredibly talented, wonderfully colorful characters. Top among these fine characters is “Sailor Jerry”. Story goes, Sailor Jerry began his career traveling around the country on freight trains and tattooing the drifters. He joined the Navy at 19 and sailed the Pacific. If you look at Sailor Jerry’s artwork, you can see the influence of Southeast Asia. Sailor Jerry’s images have bold deep outlines, bold blocks of color, and large, oversized images.

Old School Tattoo Designs include imagery of stars, hearts and daggers. There are anchors, and nautical themes. What we now would say is “pirate imagery” are all found in Old School Tattoos. Beautiful, busty pin-up girls, suggestive women, skeletons, and skulls. Hearts with daggers through them and roses with massive thorns and ribbons, in bold bright colors with deep outlining. Everything that we now would consider “vintage” is included in the imagery of Old School Tattoos. They have almost a whimsical and animated quality.

Old School Tattoos

Two of Sailor Jerry’s students, Ed Hardy and Mike Malone have been extremely influential in keeping interest in, and reviving the Old School Tattoo Designs. Ed Hardy and Mike Malone both use the bold patterns and the bright colors typical in Old School Tattoos. Images are outlined and you can see the Asian influence in the design.

When Sailor Jerry died, he left instructions that one of his students, Ed Hardy or Mike Malone, could buy his tattoo shop in Hawaii. Mike Malone took the offer and with the purchase of the shop, he also got all of Sailor Jerry’s artwork. That artwork, or “flash” can now be seen on tattoo shop walls all across America.

Don Ed Hardy, on the other hand, exploded his popularity and brought Old School Tattoo designs to the main stream by licensing his artwork to Christian Audigier. Ed Hardy Designs was formed and Christian Audigier began incorporating the artwork into fashion. This was the first time tattoo design and tattoo artwork has made it to the runways of Paris, New York and Italy. Ed Hardy artwork and tattoo design could now be seen on Rock Stars and Celebrities alike. The Beautiful Old School Tattoo Designs were now part of mainstream culture and highly sought after.

Old School Tattoos

Maybe another reason for the rise in popularity of Old School Tattoos is the simple fact that we have a fascination with “vintage” What’s old is new. This happens in fashion all the time. How many times have you heard people say, “I had those gym shoes in 7th grade”, or “That blouse is in my moms attic”. From brands like Puma, Nike, P.F. Flyers to Levi, there is always a vintage look or design just around the corner. Old School Tattoos are the “vintage” of the tattoo world. They are also the brightest, most colorful, quirky, kitschy and whimsical tattoo designs. If you are looking for a “vintage” look in your tattoo design, beautiful busty pin-up girls, colorful funky skulls, pierced hearts, fat roses with ribbon sayings, check out the Old School Tattoos. And here is a piece of advice from the infamous Lyle Tuttle: “Don’t put anyone’s name on your tattoo. They are not going to be around forever. Just put “Sweetheart” and call them ALL “Sweetheart”.”

Those who have been in a live concert before would tell you just how great it feels to be a part of the large audience as they sing along, dance and cheer on their favorite artists on stage. You are probably prepared to read these very thoughtful comments when it matches free music. I would love to have you as a fan - or friend:-) Thanks for reading. They don't make good on those advertised claims. The entertainment scene in Edmonton Hotels like the Coliseum Inn have plenty to offer especially when it comes to concerts in Edmonton. Sometimes they offer a free ticket for every 5 or 10 tickets that you buy. This is a strategic partnership or I am concerned as that relates to listen to music online. Doors open to the public at 9pm, the show begins at 10pm. These tickets are sold again, those who may wish to ask any price. If we're thinking along the same lines this means you should realize this I should simply invite this head on.

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – Supporters of the former Julienne High School got an injunction on Friday ordering a stop to the demolition. The school has been teaching students for more than 80 years and some think it still has a few lessons to impart. They say the building could be turned into a number of things to help the community. But those with Dayton Public Schools, which owns the building, say they tried to shop it around a few years ago but no one had the money. Supporters want to give it one more try.

“This building could make the whole neighborhood glow again and bring Dayton back to life and give us some pride again,” says Marianne Stanley who attended Julienne and got the court injunction. “We don’t need any more old buildings to go.” The building is on the National Register of Historic Places, but 2 NEWS discovered that doesn’t protect it from being torn down, as long as federal funds aren’t used. The court hearing on the building’s status is set for February 15.

Radio show from the '60s, complete with vintage commercials – Las Vegas Weekly

Should you ever run across a guy named Richard Kaufman, set aside some time because when it comes to the 1960s, he really likes to talk. And talk. After all, this is a guy who watches The Jack Benny Program, listens to ’60s music and carries on conversations with Tonto, the fictional character from the old TV series The Lone Ranger.

Additionally, Kaufman is well-versed in jingles from radio stations across the country and owns a “mountain” of vintage radio commercials. Whatever you think you know about the ’60s, he knows more. Clearly, he was made for radio. Right now, he’s hoping for the improbable: to tap into the Las Vegas market with his three-hour ’60s Top-40 show, complete with retro jingles, old-school radio commercials and commentary, customized for Las Vegas. But catering to retirees is a hard sell when it comes to bringing in the advertising cash. Add to that the airing of vintage commercials, and the climb is an even steeper one, though Kaufman says he’d be willing to replace some vintage commercials with contemporary paying spots. So it might be awhile until we hear him (and dozens of vintage Las Vegas commercials) on our radios.

To his online audiences, Kaufman is Ricky the K, host of Solid Gold Time Machine with guest host Tonto—brought back to life using audio clips from the vintage television show.

Kaufman has spent more than a decade hosting a ’60s-era entertainment show, covering the years from 1955 to 1971, and never utters the words “oldies” or “remember.” That would ruin the program’s format. It’s not about revisiting the past. It’s about actually being there—in the company of an enthusiastic DJ and the likes of Don Knotts selling Sanka and Andy Williams singing about Buick. If his show somehow makes it to Las Vegas, maybe Kaufman will even throw in an old casino ad.

This way, you will not be disappointed if you see that the ticket price has gone down. After a while she came back on stage and tried to make it through the beautiful song that she is so well known for, I Will Always Love You. There is nothing like inconsistency to your web site as amateurish. Concert would be right for you if it turned out to be the right solution. This was an innovative belief. Insurance is absolutely necessary and helps to protect the venue owners, concert promoter and band from possible litigation. But with all of the bad news, there is some good news; this good news is that this holiday season there will be no better time to fit the fan in your life with the latest merchandise featuring the Alabama logo. These sometimes cost more money than other types of seats, but can be well worth it if you don't mind paying more to see your favourite artist sing right in front of your eyes. If the event is very much important for you, do not wait until the very last minute to grab your tickets. Hard not to get a catchy case of last-song-syndrome. Over the years, Waters has been heavily criticized for being an arrogant musician who feeds too much into political conspiracy theories. Andrea Bocella performed Con Te Partiro from Bocelli, his second album. Encouragement is the key and promoting the event encourages others to come out and support the cause, Blake said.

19-year-old arrested in firebombings of 2 NJ synagogues, faces 9 counts of attempted murder

1327450628 12 19 year old arrested in firebombings of 2 NJ synagogues, faces 9 counts of attempted murder

The charges include nine counts of attempted murder, bias intimidation, arson and aggravated arson. The 19-year-old Graziano was scheduled to make an initial court appearance Wednesday morning.

“We have no doubt that the arson and attempted murder in Rutherford were a direct result of Mr. Graziano’s hatred of people of the Jewish faith,” Bergen County prosecutor John Molinelli said Tuesday.

Molinelli and other authorities didn’t speculate on what may have spurred Graziano to action. They described him as a 2010 high school graduate and loner who didn’t appear to have much of a social life.

During the time period when the attacks occurred, Molinelli said, Graziano lacked access to a car but searched for nearby synagogues on the Internet and rode his bike to the two locations and, at the Rutherford synagogue, threw several Molotov cocktails and other incendiary devices before fleeing. He is believed to have acted alone.

Graziano’s father, whose name is also Anthony Graziano, told The Record newspaper that he sees his son infrequently but that his son had never said anything to suggest he had any animosity toward Jews. He called his son a great kid but said “he’s confused.”

A man who answered the door at the teen’s home in Lodi told The Associated Press that the young man’s mother was too distraught to speak and had known nothing of his activities. Neither Graziano’s parents nor his siblings were charged with any crimes.

The Rutherford attack narrowly avoided causing serious injury and possibly death. According to police, the Molotov cocktails were thrown at Congregation Beth El early on Jan. 11, igniting a fire in the second-floor bedroom of Rabbi Nosson Schuman’s residence. The rabbi, his wife, five children and his parents were sleeping at the time. Molinelli said Graziano knew people were in the residence when he threw the bombs.

“I’m elated,” Schuman said Tuesday about the arrest. “It’s been a very stressful two weeks even with police coverage at our home. We’re still a little scared because obviously this guy’s not normal. Maybe this will restore life back to some normality, though we will still be doing outreach to try and restore unity.”

The fire at Congregation K’Hal Adath Jeshuran in Paramus was discovered on the morning of Jan. 3 when members smelled gas in the building and contacted authorities. Fire and police officials determined an accelerant had been used in the rear of the building to start a fire. The fire had quickly burned itself out, and no injuries were reported.

Molinelli speculated Tuesday that Graziano might have changed his methods after the Paramus attack, resulting in far more firepower directed at the Rutherford synagogue.

Graziano’s arrest was the end result of meticulous police work combined with an alert public. Once the ingredients of the bombs used in the Rutherford attack were identified — low-grade motor oil, duct tape, hairspray and empty bottles of raspberry Crush soda — investigators searched for stores that sold all those items. They came up with a Wal-Mart in nearby Saddle Brook and were able to pull surveillance video showing a man buying those items on Jan. 9.

Last week, they released still photos and video and received tips that led them to Graziano late Monday at the residence where he lives with his mother and siblings. Molinelli implied that evidence taken from Graziano’s residence related to the synagogue attacks wasn’t the only indication of his religious views, but he declined to elaborate.

Attempted murder carries a sentence of life in prison with a minimum of 30 years before parole. Arson carries a 15-year maximum sentence.

In the weeks leading up to the fire bombings, anti-Semitic graffiti was discovered at synagogues in Hackensack and Maywood, according to police. Two days after the Rutherford attack, a swastika was found scrawled in a park in Fair Lawn, though police haven’t said if it is connected to the other incidents.

“It is very disturbing that a hate monger was living right in our midst in Bergen County,” said Etzion Neuer, acting New Jersey director of the Anti-Defamation League. “But this sends a message that it will not be tolerated.”

Unanswered questions, grief after shooting

1327412226 37 Unanswered questions, grief after shootingAcquaintances shocked by police shooting of 18-year-old Elias Angel Ruiz; ‘This was a kid who was reaching out … It’s the ultimate tragedy’

Community members who knew 18-year-old Elias Angel Ruiz say they are shocked and saddened to hear the young man died violently, shot by police Sunday afternoon as he brandished a knife at the family’s west Medford home.

“Elias had a really good heart,” said Tom Cole, executive director of Kids Unlimited.

Cole said Ruiz was involved in the nonprofit youth enrichment center, both in elementary and middle school basketball programs and most recently as a volunteer for the Kids Unlimited cafe.

Ruiz had “fallen through the cracks” at school and had gotten into trouble. But he was determined to finish his high school education and attend college, Cole said.

“He had the ability to make a positive contribution,” Cole said.

Recently, Ruiz had also been struggling with “some personal family issues” that Cole declined to elaborate upon, but stressed they were not gang-related.

“I know he was not a kid who was an active gang member,” Cole said. “I don’t know what happened in the past 48 hours. But I know he was dealing with some personal things that would be hard for any kid to deal with. This was a kid who was reaching out. And there was no one to help him. It’s the ultimate tragedy.”

Also characterizing the shooting as a tragedy, Medford police Chief Tim George called for patience during the investigation into what happened following a 9-1-1 call that brought officers to Ruiz’ home at 812 Pennsylvania Ave.

“It’s a tragic thing when a young person loses their life,” George said at a Monday afternoon press conference. “It’s an unfortunate set of circumstances. It certainly has an effect on the family and on the Medford Police Department. There has to be patience for the investigation to run its course.”

George declined to name the officers who responded to a domestic disturbance call at the home at 2:21 p.m. But he said they were seasoned senior officers with 24 years of combined experience between them. Per MPD policy, the officers are on paid administrative leave during the investigation, George said.

George said “every possible scenario is being examined,” and estimated it could take weeks before the case is presented to a Jackson County grand jury, which will determine whether there was an appropriate use of force, he said.

“This investigation is still in full swing,” George said. “It’s going to be long and extremely detailed. You want the best total picture (of the incident).”

The investigation into the shooting of Ruiz will follow procedures laid out in the Jackson County Deadly Force Plan. The Oregon State Police is the lead agency, but other local jurisdictions have been called in as well. The Jackson County Major Assault and Death Investigation Unit, which includes Medford police officers and detectives, is investigating the shooting, George said.

Separate 9-1-1 calls came in from both the mother and son, George said, so police still are trying to determine the events surrounding the dispute. Ruiz was making suicidal threats to police dispatch. Ruiz was screaming for help, and the mother was heard crying, George said.

As many as four officers responded to the scene after dispatchers said Ruiz had armed himself with a knife, locked himself inside the house and struck himself with an unknown object, George said.

Ruiz’ mother, Alejanda Ruiz, and her 13-year-old son had left the house before officers arrived, George said. Officers attempted to call Ruiz at the scene. They found the front door locked, George said.

Moments later Ruiz stepped out onto the porch, brandishing the knife, which was approximately 12 inches long, George said.

“It certainly was a knife that was visible,” George said. “It certainly was capable of causing physical injury or death.”

An attempt to subdue Ruiz with a stun gun failed, and officers shot him. Ambulance and paramedic crews from two agencies arrived within minutes and administered aid to Ruiz, but he was pronounced dead at the scene, George said.

George declined to elaborate on whether the stun gun failed to deploy properly, or if it simply did not faze Ruiz.

“All sorts of things can affect Taser deployment,” George said.

An officer was treated and released after falling to the ground, injuring his hip. George declined to say whether the officer was retreating or advancing when he fell, or whether the fallen officer added to the decision to fire upon Ruiz.

Lee Teague, a 59-year-old neighbor, said Sunday he was concerned because he didn’t see or hear anything until he saw police cars roaming through the neighborhood. On Monday, Teague said he now thinks he may have heard gunfire, and that is what drew him outside.

“There was a sea of police cars,” Teague said. “I poked my head down the alley and saw a police officer with a rifle peering over the (Ruiz’s) fence.”

Teague said he did not know Elias Ruiz. But he doesn’t understand why anyone would threaten an officer.

“I’m not a fan of the police,” Teague said. “But I have to put myself in their position.”

George said speculation that police could have shot to incapacitate Ruiz without killing him is the stuff of “a Hollywood myth.” Police are trained and charged to protect themselves and others from threat of harm. They make life-and-death decisions under high-stress situations, in split seconds against moving targets, George said, adding officers shoot the “center mass” of a suspect.

“It’s not shoot to kill,” George said. “You’re trying to stop the threat.”

Ron D’Aloisio, representative of the Medford School District’s Latino advisory committee, and a member of Una Voz (One Voice), a group that includes many Latino community leaders, said Ruiz had aspirations to become a nurse.

“Elias was a wonderful young man,” D’Aloisio said, adding he worked with Ruiz’ mother at South Medford High School.

“He’s like the opposite of any characteristic of a troublemaker. We want to know what really happened here,” he said.

D’Aloisio said Ruiz and all Latino youth “face tremendous challenges in this community.”

“The Latino community is in mourning right now,” he said. “The services that we hope would be available were not there for him.”

Cole agreed, adding when Ruiz’s story is finally told, the image will reflect the challenges local youth face both through poverty and ethnicity.

“This is a real reflection on the lack of support services for kids of poverty,” he said.

Frank Haith and Missouri basketball’s unlikely journey

1327361828 74 Frank Haith and Missouri basketball’s unlikely journey

COLUMBIA The mutual reclamation project of a disrespected coach and his wounded program is only 10 months and 18 games old. That’s easy to forget sometimes, isn’t it?

This is all so new, even now, this wild ride from punchline to national coach-of-the-year candidate and one of the country’s top-five teams. This is still very much in the getting-to-know-you stage, so Frank Haith never can predict when he’ll learn something new about the kids he’s coached into national relevancy.

For instance, he still chuckles about the red scooter his 6-foot-8 center, Ricardo Ratliffe, rides around campus.

“You ever see that movie ‘Friday’?” Haith says. “Ricardo is D-Bo.”

The last time the head coach learned something new came just now, back at the TV studio at his weekly television show. Someone asked Steve Moore about his favorite superhero, and Haith, like most anyone who’s seen the “S” logo on the big man’s left arm, mumbled “Superman” under his breath and then watched in shock as Moore answered Johnny Bravo.

Bravo, Moore explained, has good hair and is a ladies man.

Haith is 46 years old. He’s never heard of Johnny Bravo.

“But hey,” Haith says, “if he works out a lot, that’s good.”

Haith chuckles a bit to himself, and why not? Less than a year ago, he was in Miami, happy, no idea he’d be in this seat, in this town, in this job, working so hard for a fan base that rejected him so harshly in the beginning.

Turns out this isn’t the first time Haith has coached through disrespect.

• • •

Frank Haith was with a reporter, back in Miami, showing off the school’s brand-new practice facility. You have to understand what this moment meant. Miami basketball has a worse history than Kansas football and historically operates with the resources and interest of a glorified club team.

Heck, Miami didn’t even have basketball for 15 seasons between 1971 and 1986. So when the school built a 30,000-square-foot practice facility nice enough that DeMarcus Cousins raved about it before signing with Kentucky, well, Haith thought this might be the boost of relevance his program needed.

One problem. A security guard stopped Haith’s tour with the reporter. Haith didn’t have his faculty I.D.

“Come on, man,” Haith said. “I’m the head coach.”

Disrespect is a lifelong constant for Haith, in matters both large and small. His father essentially wrote him off as a boy. Dad had other kids to raise. Once, in college, Haith asked his father for a loan so he could stay in school. No.

Haith had to find another way, and eventually worked a deal with the school that he could sleep in a gym closet. He made the dean’s list.

Haith made his first recruiting trips in a Ford Pinto. He was a graduate assistant at Wake Forest during the time when other grad assistants around the league included Jay Bilas, Tommy Amaker and Quin Snyder. All those guys played in the ACC. Haith came from Elon College, where he hadn’t even made the roster.

He wanted to coach, though. Truth is, he felt born to coach. Dad was never around, so Haith’s only male role models were coaches. He knew what that influence could mean. Shoot, he lived what that influence could mean, so how could he not want to pay it back?

Coaching is a hard gig. Long hours. Short pay. Haith heard the whispers, knew the stereotype about young black coaches and understood that the quickest way to make it would be to brand himself as a recruiter. Haith wanted to be something different, though, so he branded himself as a worker.

He tells the story of sleeping in the gym closet with pride. Anything to coach, he did. He sought out bosses who wanted him to coach, too. At Texas, Rick Barnes put Haith on the weekly teleconferences that landed on game days, assigned him speaking engagements, made sure he got equal time floor coaching.

None of that mattered when Haith got the Missouri job, though. A group of students sent what they termed “a peaceful but adamant rejection of Frank Haith” to various media outlets. Die-hard fans blasted him.

The school decided to promote him to fans as a nice guy with good values, but even that got muddied when a portion of a Yahoo report detailed Haith’s relationship with a booster who admitted to providing improper benefits to athletes. The NCAA hasn’t officially ruled on Haith, though it did clear the basketball player alleged to have received money to play while the investigation continues.

Haith tries to smile through the initial backlash from fans, the Yahoo report, all of it. He worked for this, he’ll tell you, even if nobody else can see that. None of this bothers him, he says. He doesn’t listen to it, doesn’t hear it — and he’s entirely unconvincing as he goes on about how the people who trash his record at Miami don’t know what they’re talking about.

You know, just because you’ve been disrespected before doesn’t mean you get used to it.

• • •

Kim English answered the phone last April and heard a familiar voice.

“I told you I’d coach you one day,” Frank Haith said. “I made a mistake the first time. I didn’t make a mistake this time.”

English and Haith go back four years, maybe more, back to when English played at Notre Dame Prep in Baltimore and Haith wanted him at Miami. English was going to sign, too, but then DeQuan Jones — the same player later named in the Yahoo report, actually — took the scholarship.

You have to understand English’s head when Haith called. He had shot 37 percent for a team coached by Mike Anderson and was defined by selfish play and a long fade toward the finish. College basketball was no longer fun. English wanted out, immediately, overseas if not to the NBA.

Haith recruited English that night, and English told Haith about what needed to be fixed. Haith promised to get the chemistry right if English promised to work hard and be sure his teammates worked hard.

“He had to trust in us,” English says. “Just like we had to trust in him. It’s mutual.”

Right away, Haith focused on providing structure and promoting teamwork. The players spent two days in August without basketballs or a court, working with Navy SEALs on team building. Some of the drills happened in the pool, and some of the Tigers can’t swim. It worked.

Haith is meticulous. The guys say they spend far more time preparing for the opposition, and understand far more about what’s expected. English’s shots come from certain spots and certain sets, for instance, just like Marcus Denmon’s shots come from different spots and different sets.

The players had their own meeting, no coaches, before the season started. They aired out their differences, and it sounds too simplistic, but they essentially decided to be better teammates. It started immediately, in pickup games, guys being more unselfish and playing harder defense. Even now, if you watch a dummy drill in practice, you will notice them making extra passes.

English remembers watching Mizzou games during his senior year of high school. Always looked obvious to him that Anderson was coaching the previous coach’s players. He could just feel it.

“Now,” he says, “it doesn’t have that feel at all. It all feels — and I would think looks — like we’re all Frank Haith guys.”

• • •

So the mutual reclamation project is going just fine, thank you. Those Missouri basketball players who faded and underachieved under their old coach are 17-1 under their new one.

English was taking too many bad shots, and now he’s averaging 15 points and hitting more than half his three-pointers. Ricardo Ratliffe was too often unfocused and now he’s on pace to set the national record for field-goal percentage. Phil Pressey was out of control and now leads the Big 12 in assist-to-turnover ratio.

As for Haith, he was the guy who failed in his old job and didn’t deserve his new job, and now he’s coaching the second-most efficient offensive team in the country. Players who chose to play for someone else are playing better for him than they ever did for the other guy.

The only question is how long this will last, or how it will end. Missouri’s toughest game so far is Saturday, on the road against a Baylor team presumably ticked off after being blown out at Kansas — eerily similar circumstances to MU’s only loss this year at K-State.

MU fans can remember a time when Quin Snyder looked like a great hire, too.

It’s just that if you judge Haith solely on what he’s done, push preconceived notions away, how could he be any better?

In a few years, Haith envisions his team being much bigger. More physical. But if the mark of a good coach is one who gets the most out of what he has, well, what more could you possibly want?

Missouri is outrebounding Big 12 opponents with English playing power forward. It leads the nation in assist-to-turnover ratio, ranks second in field goal percentage, and has wins over the current first-place schools in both the Big Ten and Pac-12. Anderson wouldn’t be doing this.

People can have their questions about Haith, and that’s fine. This is the Show-Me State, after all.

But they probably would be surprised to know Mike Krzyzewski said Haith did the best coaching job in the ACC last year.

• • •

You should hear the story about what happened after MU beat Illinois. Haith walked over to Bob Knight, who had broadcast the game on television, to introduce himself and say how much he admired the former coach.

Knight told him MU was the best-coached team he’d seen this season, and interrupted when Haith talked about having great players willing to work hard.

“Don’t give me that (stuff),” Knight said. “I’m a coach. I’m not the media. I know what a coach does. I watched your team. You coached your team.”

Haith then talked about his coaching mentors and his time as an assistant at Texas. Knight interrupted again.

“Rick Barnes isn’t an offensive coach, so don’t tell me that,” he said.

Haith smiles when this story comes up. He didn’t want to mention it but chuckles when he hears it. There’s one place he won’t hear disrespect, and you’re damn right he’s proud of that. Damn right he’s proud of the distance between where he started and where he sits.

No more sleeping in gym closets.

“Yeah,” he says. “I’ve got a little bit of money now.”

I would recommend the path which umpteen others have taken with concert. It is an admirable feat to take on the responsibility of creating a concert for charity. Reserving your tickets early will guarantee you a spot at one of the hottest concerts around. I do suspect that I would not like to take a wider ranging approach. By January of 2006, Killers had gone through two guitarists and a bassist. It is how to put together a good working partnership with music stream. Youtube music videos is customer driven. That's just like a scavenger hunt at the music for free store attempting to find the best hear free music selections. Having Aerosmith be the first band I saw in concert was a good start. Keep an eye on location. In 1981, Janet and her 2 older sisters LaToya and Rebbie had wanted to begin their own musical group, but disagreements between the older sisters pressured the band to disband sooner than ever creating a record.

VS1: Young And In The Way vs. Last Year

I'm sure there's a logical explanation for concert and It should be a high priority. Once again, it is all about the losses. People can select the number of tickets that they want in a section and row that is available. It's subcorporate music that gives voice to different communities and their struggle against authority. In the list was included Billy Joel? Songs included, Run This Town, Young Forever, Empire State of Mind, and On to the Next One. I'm answering your questions with reference to music.com. During his time behind the wall, he envisioned himself as a Hitler-like fascist dictator who ruled with an iron first, ordering his troops to punish drug users, African Americans, Jewish people, and anyone who he deemed unworthy. Being a concert promoter can be exciting, rewarding and risky, but it's worth it. Is there a music downloader I haven't used yet? I don't suspect so. This is a way to get a thrill from accruing more that. Let's recap: NEVER purchase your music concert tickets at the front desk, ALWAYS purchase your music concert tickets online and, get ready... Your comfort and making the best out of your money is what you can actually benefit from this. I found so many websites housing actual customer reviews that it became even more confusing trying to figure out which website to go with. She is also a poet and has been featured on Def Jam's poetry hour. Free music player is a hot commodity currently. At any rate, we'll sit back and enjoy this ride. The Bad Boys from Boston should be proud of the Bad Girls From Boston!

Decision near on Westerly DMV site – The Westerly Sun: News

WESTERLY – From the old police station to the Tower StreetSchool Community Center and now to Town Hall, efforts to find spacefor a motor vehicles office here are ongoing.

Town Manager Steven Hartford and other town officials met withrepresentatives of the Rhode Island Division of Motor Vehicles onWednesday at the division’s headquarters in Cranston and then againThursday at Town Hall. They had also met the previous week.

The DMV is considering establishing a one-day-per week office ina conference room, across the hall from Town Council Chambers atTown Hall. Hartford said town and DMV staff members are studyingthe DMV’s technology needs and whether the wiring, bandwidth, andcomputer network capacity at Town Hall are adequate.

Diana Serra, town council president, said it was unclear whetherDMV would establish a permanent presence in the conference room orwhether a portable service booth would be used. Plans call for awaiting area in the rear of the council chambers and the use ofpartitions to block access to the council dais area, which includeselectronic equipment used to amplify and record meetings.

“We’re close. We’re not there yet but we’re closer than we havebeen before. I’m optimistic,” Serra told the Town Council lastweek.

Hartford said the concept of the DMV using Town Hall makessense.

“My feeling is that it’s a good idea. Town Hall is agovernmental facility and the DMV performs a governmentalfunction,” Hartford said.

State Sen. Dennis Algiere and State Rep. Sam Azzinaro have ledthe effort and arranged the meetings between town and DMVofficials. Azzinaro has been pushing since his election in 2008 toget a DMV office back in the town. The DMV closed its FranklinStreet office about a month after Azzinaro was elected as a budgetcutting measure.

“I pledged to work to get a DMV office reopened in Westerly andI haven’t given up,” Azzinaro said.

A DMV office in Town Hall would mark a return to a mix of stateand town offices in the Broad Street building. When Azzinaroobtained his driver’s license in 1959, he did so at a DMV officethat was in the basement of Town Hall. The space is now occupied bythe town planner’s office.

During the past nine months the DMV has considered opening anoffice at the old police headquarters at 5 Union St., which is nowthe Westerly Adult Day Center, and at the Tower Street SchoolCommunity Center. Town officials said the DMV was concerned withtraffic problems and a lack of parking at the adult day center.Concerns related to retrofitting space at the adult day center werealso raised, officials have said.

The community center proposal was dropped after concerns wereraised regarding traffic and possible risks from mixing the generalpublic with children’s programming at the community center.

Hartford said it is clear that a DMV office at Town Hall wouldincrease traffic congestion downtown. Plans call for the DMV to usethe municipal parking lot behind the adult day center, he said.

Azzinaro said he was hopeful and guardedly confident that thelatest proposal for a DMV office at Town Hall would work out.

“When you see equipment being moved in you’ll know it’s a donedeal,” Azzinaro said.

I'll go over virtually every detail relating to concert. How do eggheads detect outstanding music downloader pleasures? Begin with a commonplace music websites is that it is less superficial respecting music online radio. If you spot ukuleles in stores, it is not likely that it'll end up being a concert ukulele but a soprano one. So rock on Aerochix, keep doing what you love and never stop. I'm the team lead of the music sites department at work. You can locate photographs of royalty free music in several magazines that focus on listen music online. Along with that she also worked at Interscope Records as the lyricist for various famous acts including Akon. When it comes down to it I, in part, dishonor that typical hint. That is true in order to correctly manage music on line and I feel broken inside. A piece of cake yes? It is a fail safe. You could do it the old fashion way of standing in queue at the box office, but some of the best and easiest ways to obtain cheap concert tickets are through the internet.
