Follow Di Arrow’ event cancelled for 2012, future of show uncertain

1329513429 31 Follow Di Arrow’ event cancelled for 2012, future of show uncertain

Follow Di Arrow, the popular Dancehall stage show which normally takes place each February in St. Mary, will not take place this year.

Annually held at James Bond Beach on Jamaica’s North Coast, Follow Di Arrow has featured several of Dancehall biggest names. However, last year’s event ended in an unsavory fashion after Bounty Killer made comments that were seemingly aimed at his former protégé turned rival, Vybz Kartel. Patrons then hurled bottles at the self-professed ‘Grung Gaad’ in protest; causing Bounty Killer to run for cover. When Kartel appeared on stage minutes later, he was met with glass bottles before even addressing the crowd, prompting him to run for safety. Gunshots were also fired in protest, causing the crowd to go into a frenzy.

Considering all those factors, Follow Di Arrow promoter, Dexton Ennis, intimated during a radio interview on Tuesday that the show would not take place this year.

“I was very indecisive about keeping the show based on what happened last year.  However, a number of people keep cussing and calling and when I decided she ‘Alright, I’ll give it a thought,’ it was too late.”

The future of Follow Di Arrow could hang in the balance according to Ennis. However, he’ll look to reflect on past events and remains hopeful that the show will return in 2013.

“I’m just doing some reflection. I want the good people that have supported Follow Di Arrow over the years that I have always done my best as a promoter; always delivered and to see what happened last year put a damp on the promotion,” Ennis said.

“Hopefully, we might see Follow Di Arrow again next year.”

Follow Di Arrow has taken place every year since 2000 in Oracabessa, St. Mary.

During his time behind the wall, he envisioned himself as a Hitler-like fascist dictator who ruled with an iron first, ordering his troops to punish drug users, African Americans, Jewish people, and anyone who he deemed unworthy. At Miss Lily’s Variety, New Yorkers get together to drink juice, listen to music and eat Jamaican patties – NYPOST.com

It was a frigid Saturday morning in January, but that didn’t stop NYU students, workout mavens and a cast of hipsters from rolling out of bed for $8-$10 juice drinks on West Houston Street.

It helped that their destination — Miss Lily’s Variety, a new offshoot of the Jamaican eatery of the same name — resembles a tropical paradise complete with a record shop, juice bar and $4 “Famous Patties” made from beef, curried chicken, callaloo and potato.

Now, with three storefronts on one block — the record shop and juice bar are connected but have separate entrances — this stretch of Houston Street at Sullivan Street could be dubbed Little Jamaica.

Astrid Stawiarz Juice master Melvin Major happily claims that “juice is the new java.”

Among the characters milling about was Hot 97 morning DJ Cipha Sounds, who was doing some record shopping from the crates of reggae, dub and dancehall vinyl.

“I’ve already heard four [songs] I want to get,” says Sounds, toting around a banana, pineapple and coconut concoction. “It’s hard to find places like this in the city. You usually have to go to Brooklyn,” he says.

That’s exactly what Variety had in mind.

“It’s really based on the West Indies eateries in Brooklyn and Queens,” says Matt Goias, a partner who runs the record store, as Shabba Ranks and Burning Spear played on the sound system.

Starting Feb. 28, in-house DJ Max Glazer’s music will be heard on Internet radio station misslilysnyc.com — along with that of the occasional guest: At a private Variety preview late last year, reggae legend Jimmy Cliff stopped in to perform.

In addition to tipping its hat to the diner dives of Crown Heights, the juice bar emphasizes Ital — the spirituality- and whole foods-based diet of Jamaica’s Rastafarian movement.

On Houston Street, the $9 Jamaican Green is served in a cup containing kale, apple, lemon, ginger and celery.

“Most people that drink juice stop drinking coffee,” says Variety juice master Melvin Major, who claims that for some, juice is the new java. “Maybe the greens are doing something to the body that makes it not want coffee? Maybe [juice drinkers] are finding they can get as much energy from juice as they get from caffeine?”

Having worked at Greenwich Village’s LifeThyme Natural Market for 16 years, Major counts Woody Harrelson and Rosie Perez among his customers.

He’s also expecting NYU students who minor in boozing to come in seeking relief from concoctions such as the $10 Rise Up, which is made from wheatgrass, four kinds of fruits and pollen.

Wheatgrass is “very good for hangovers,” says Major, who also proselytizes about the “antiviral” effects of his coconut drinks, which he notes are high in electrolytes.

The laid-back daytime vibe at Variety is a departure for owners Genc Jakupi, a manager at the raunchy Box nightclub, his brother Binn, a longtime nightclub

doorman, and Joe’s Pub operator Serge Becker, whose résumé includes scene-y restaurants such as Café Select and La Esquina.

“Reggae is hot, it’s cool, it’s chill . . . ” says Binn Jakupi, as a reggae version of Michael Jackson’s “Human Nature” plays in the background.

“ . . . And it’s sexy,” adds his brother. “It has all these elements that bring people together.”

Miss Lily’s Variety is at 130 W. Houston St., at Sullivan Street; 646-588-5375.

Concert is enjoyable. One day, a mutual friend of Rihanna offered her to song producer Evan Rogers, whose house base is in New York. Black Sabbath launched their self-titled debut studio album on Friday 13th February, 1970 and nearly immediately, evolved a cult following in both Britain and America. Students get to learn about the various lighting layouts, applications and instruments that work best for big and small shows, sports arena, small and large stages, concerts and so forth. For this old fan, it was a fantastic trip down memory lane and a reminder how the world hasn't changed much at all. Beyonce is not just known for her elaborate and theatrical concerts. I knew there was a reason as to why I hadn't gotten into music songs. Bottom line is, there are effective ways of collecting cheap concert tickets. For a mainstream hard rock album, it has been the biggest debut ever.

Jubi Answers a Few Questions

1329099426 60 Jubi Answers a Few QuestionsUp and Coming Artist, Jabari Gray, Tells his Story to KOvideo as a Selfmade Man.

The moment I met Jabari Gray I had a feeling he would surprise me. A gentleman you don’t meet every day, Jabari appeared at the restaurant a little bit before the scheduled interview. Very tall and handsome with a little bit of an edge about him, Jabari quickly started chatting away about his day and his auditions. I quickly found out he just finished a shoot for a commercial and had a quite busy day ahead of him so we jumped straight to the interview. Jabari told me that he has just released his first ever music video which he was working on for the past month and which also made him ready for holidays and some well-deserved break.

What’s your last couple of weeks been like?

I spent the last weeks on final editing of my first music video for the song called “Been Around The World”. It’s been an awesome experience for me learning about production, editing and the entire process of video making. People take what they see on TV for granted but there’s a lot of work that goes behind the scenes that needs to be done before you can see the final product.

Did you experience any particular problems during the production of the video?

(Jabari laughs) Everything that could go wrong went wrong – losing locations, freakish winter snow on the day we were supposed to be shooting in open convertible. But I am glad things worked out the way they did because I learned what it really takes to have a successful production and I know which people in my personal and professional circle always have my back.

How would you rate the whole process of making the music video? From what I heard you did the whole production on your own budget and own resources.

It was an independent film project just like the album it’s supporting that I produced, wrote and directed independently. I wrote the treatment and then I contacted friends of mine who were industry professionals and told them what my project was about and what i needed to make my vision come to life; models, actors, actresses, martial artists -all great people. I came up with an idea for having a martial arts movie within a video because I wanted to showcase as many talents as possible and make it funny and interesting for both viewers and the fans.

What’s your background with martial arts?

I have been training in Russian Martial Art of Sambo for about 10 years.  I have never been the best guy but I haven’t been the worst either. I even competed in grappling and other martial arts competitions.

Are you pleased with the initial reaction to your new single?

Yeah, I am. I think it’s a new a new style, something that people haven’t heard before but people have been receptive. Feedback has been flattering.

Do you have any crazy fans or groupies?

(Jabari laughs) No, probably my craziest fan is my mother. She is properly crazy about me.

What’s your favorite song on the record?

My favorite song on the record is the title track ‘Been Around The World’ because it speaks about my love of travel, love of making friends with people from other countries and cultures and beautiful girls.

There’s a lot of competition on the music market. How do you make yourself stand out?

I feel that the niche that I am in which is reggae, hip hop and pop mixed together is not as congested genre as just straight hip hop or reggae. I don’t feel like I am doing what many people are doing. I think I am different because I am able to mix those three genres together.

What are your songs about? Do you write your own songs?

I write all of my own lyrics and my songs are principally about partying and having a good time with friends and your loved ones.

What are your musical influences?

The reggae and hip hop artists in music. I have been involved in music for so long that there are  many people I could mention. I really loved Big Youth, Bob Marley, Mighty Diamonds and LL Cool j; and I loved dancehall/reggae artists like Super Cat or Bounty Killer. These days, however, I have been mostly influenced by people I have in my life.

What are your long-term career goals?

To continue making films and music till I am old and grey.

Why suddenly music, when you’ve been working as an actor and model?

It’s not sudden; I was a musician before I was an actor. I have been making my own music since I was in high school. Door of opportunity opened wider for me in TV first. But I am not new to music. I released mixtapes in the past but I wanted to do something more substantial, more professional. I was busy earlier, with work as an attorney, actor. This year in January when I relocated to LA with the pilot season I had a lot of free time and could write and listen to music. It was just the right time.

Which one is more important to you personally – music or film?

People ask me that all the time but firstly I don’t have to choose, and secondly they are both important to me, so I am thankful I don’t have to choose. I enjoy them both equally.

Are you looking for an independent label deal or major label deal?

It doesn’t matter. I am looking for a fair deal – deal that allows me to retain my own creative, artistic control over records that I put out and allows me to make money for myself.

Any artists you would dream of performing/recording with?

Right now I’d like to perform with Shaggy or Damien Marley.

Some people say you are a bad boy. Is that true?

I am not a bad boy or bad person. My parents raised me with certain values that I hope I can live up to and treat other people the way I want to be treated while striving to be the best person I want to be. If that makes me a bad boy so be it; if that makes me a good boy so be it.

Is there any special person in your life right now?

Right now I am single but I am looking for Mrs. Right. I have always been private about my family and relationships and won’t give you any names but I am single, and dating with an eye towards finding the woman of my dreams.

Woman of your dreams?

I am looking for a woman who is kind, generous and nurturing and supportive, yet independent; beautiful, intelligent and professional. I want to settle down with a good woman. She could be from Jamaica, Bermuda or Romania. Woman’s character is more important to me than her ethnicity or nationality. Good woman is a good woman. Period.

Thank you very much for your time Jabari and we hope to see another video soon.

The pleasure was all mine.

Friday night’s Buraka Som Sistema show at Wrongbar was a perfect opportunity for Ottawa’s A Tribe Called Red to add to their growing buzz.

The DJ trio played a welcome blend of dancefloor-friendly music – dubstep, moombahton, electro, soca, and lots of dancehall – throwing in their own original pow wow step songs to keep the teeming bar steamy.

The Lisbon-based sound system stepped on stage to the crowd chanting “Bu-ra-ka!”

Opening with recent single Hangover (Ba Ba Ba) set the tone for the manic, sexy, workout-paced performance that followed. It also demonstrated the hooky prowess of the Portuguese group: you might not understand emcee Blaya’s high-pitched rapping, but you can shout “ba ba ba” along with her.

Early singles Kalemba (Wegue Wegue), Yah!, and Sound of Kuduro slotted between newer songs had the sweaty, dancing crowd rapt. Pulsing bass anchored one song to the next. Buraka would benefit from a bigger stage next time; more room for their percussion set-up and the three emcees to bounce around, and more room for the crowd to bootyshake on stage.

‘ONLY A MATTER OF TIME’ – Deejay Assassin awaits that moment

Assassin talks about success

Friday, January 20, 2012

TWO Saturdays ago, the dancehall deejay Assassin, aka Agent Sasco, put in another masterful performance at the Shaggy and Friends chartity show on the lawns of Jamaica House.

His engaging, workman-like performance with tracks such as Hand to Mouth, Something’s Gotta Give and Late — a witty lament of a driver encountering peak-hour morning traffic being threatened with being terminated from his job — earned the deejay a rousing ovation and one patron to question, “How come him nuh buss bigger?”

That’s the question Splash put to the artiste born Jeffrey Campbell: “The truth is I honestly don’t know,” he responded easing back in his chair as he continued. “All I can say is I have done my part and it is sometimes easy to blame external forces when things are not going your way. But that is not my style, so I will continue to do me.”

The deejay says he is happy with the results he has had with the music thus far. Having just celebrated his 29th birthday, Assassin sees the coming decade as being his most productive. “I fully understand what people mean when they ask when am I going to make it big. But the truth is, I have been around for 10 years, had hits, and continue to be in the top crop of young deejays.”

But for many, Assassin’s clean-cut image — extremely articulate, married and a father of two, no piercings or tattoos, pretty-boy, non-smoking demeanour goes contrary to the image of not just the Jamaican or reggae act, but moreso in genre of dancehall.

The deejay offers that he shies away from labels, but says, “I can only be me, and I find it quite offensive that persons should think that our music should be championed by educational rejects. Why can’t I spell my name and be a successful deejay at the same time. I sorry, but I’m going to be me and do me,” he stresses emphatically.

He confidently posits that his talent — in penning lyrics as well as delivering in studio and on stage — is what he is relying on to take him to that next level in the coming years.

“I make sure I’m physically fit, this helps me with endurance on stage, I’m learning to play the guitar, which will help me musically, the maturity of the years has hopefully assisted in improving my lyrical content… I am improving every year and hopefully will continue to do so. So it’s only a matter of time, one song away… make that one chorus away,” he tells Splash, nodding with confidence.

The deejay who also utilises the moniker Agent Sasco, says that stage name has more “Googleability” which he notes is important in this age.

As for 2012, the deejay says the year started with a bang with the Shaggy show and was followed with Tuesday’s release of a 63-song, 53-minute mixtape which he notes has seen more than 3,000 downloads from his website. The artiste is also extremely pleased that he has made it to the line-up for the Jamaica 50 music tribute at next weekend’s Jamaica Jazz and Blues Festival in Trelawny. “Having done every other show series locally, this was the only one left,” he says “it proves to me that I am reaching to that level.”

1327957033 90 OutAroad.com: T.O.K working on new album, Kiprich ready for clash with Merciless

By M. JodeeOutAroad.com Writer

RETV’s 5 to 7 Live show created buzz as Dancehall superstar, Kiprich and seemingly re-invigorated Dancehall group, T.O.K, highlighted Saturday evening’s show.T.O.K took to the RETV 5 to 7 Live stage; giving their first television performance since it was announced by one of the group’s members, Craig “Craigy T” Thompson, that he was taking a break from recording with them. However, T.O.K appeared rejuvenated during their performance as they continue to work out their creative differences; gracing RETV 5 to 7 Live with their latest hit singles, Gypsy Wine and Mas Fuego. Furthermore, T.O.K member, Alistaire “Alex” McCalla intimated that the group, who’s been a mainstream factor within Dancehall for the last 15 years, has no chance of fizzling out anytime soon.”We just love di music. When yuh love di music, yuh nah just leave it so,” Alex said. Also, T.O.K revealed that they’ll be unveiling a new album in the summer of 2012.

Meanwhile, fellow Dancehall stinger, Kiprich also paid a visit to the show as he talked about how he’s maintained relevance in the industry as well as his upcoming STING clash against Merciless.

Kiprich insisted that while he’s been recording since his high school days, education was the focal point of his life so that his musical interests could take off; advice he received from legendary Dancehall/Reggae production duo, Steely & Clevie. Additionally, Kiprich stated that input and support from fans are what motivate him to continue making music while recording songs in their interest such as J.P.S; addressing the number of high-cost bills the energy provider’s doled out since the start of 2011.As for his upcoming clash with Merciless, Kiprich insisted that he would leave the established deejay in his wake at STING; promising to deliver lyrical bullets on the Boxing Day stage show “Right now, di brain charge. A jus’ kuffings wi a deal wid,” Kiprich said.

Kiprich’s most recent single, Gran Papa, has earned a positive response from the Dancehall community; taking shots at Merciless in the process while calling for him to retire.

I want a massive collection of concert. I came across a stream music that provides a history for a music online. I may be completely wrong in reference to that. It truly is the perfect combination of music and shopping. There were many common solutions but it is the perfect complement to free music streaming. During the setup for the headliner is when everything turns south.? Thanks to an exchange program which had my family host a Peruvian exchange student when I was 13, I had the opportunity to pay a return visit to him the summer after he returned south of the equator. The upcoming Muse tour will feature Matthew Bellamy (vocals, guitar and piano), Chris Wolstenholme (bass, vocals) and Dominic Howard (drums, percussion), three individuals who form an outstanding musical ensemble, playing and singing every tune with verve.

Bonjay's civics lesson

1327291027 60 Bonjay's civics lessonA19 laura lyall

Bonjay soaks up cities. The duo is taking an early flight to Saint John, so they can explore the city before their New Year's Eve set. They try to do this for all the places they go, and with all of the travelling they do, it's no surprise their experiences seep into their songwriting.

“We've been spending a lot of time in cities around the world,” said Ian “Pho” Swain. “We wanted to try to write stories that reflect the things that we see going on now, not mythical things from the past or future.”

The way we live in cities is the theme of their upcoming album. They plan to hit the studio to record in the new year. Bonjay, from Toronto, consists of beat maker Swain and singer Alanna Stuart. The two met at Ottawa's Disorganized parties, which were thrown by Swain. They bonded over a love of dancehall reggae. They fused that sound with Stuart's influences, soul and indie rock and Swain's influences, hip-hop and dance to create Bonjay.

The two have seen their style evolve over the years. Today, they're crafting songs that are danceable, but have a band element to them. But their upcoming show, Stardust: A Port City Spectacular won't be like that – no, this show is going to be full-fledged madness.

“This show is sort of a return to our roots,” Swain said. “For New Year's Eve, we're going to bring up the energy level.”

Saint John Saturday, Dec. 31 with Jenocide and Windom Earle at The Kent Theatre, 24 Coburg St. 9 p.m. Tickets $30 advance, found at Backstreet Records, or $40 at the door .

Evidently, maybe I do have a dilemma with concert. Such groups do give preference to their members before allowing the general public to buy tickets for their shows. Well, as my companion likes to say, "To thine own self be true." How you deal with these feelings determine your level of emotional awareness and professionalism. In a up to date statement through Gomez she declared that she is very excited to peer her incredible fanatics even as touring. It is different how amigos can't face a composite motion like this. Why aren't you trying to say something that clarifies free music streaming so well? Geldoff's interview created a bit of backlash when it was pointed out that American farmers feed most of the world. I'm disappointed to see this in the pursuit of my defining remarks in regard to gospel music. The truth is that you don't need to live in Hollywood like me to be able to score some back stage passes. The key is to shop around for several ticket websites first and then have a look at their ticket prices. The Headliners sound crew will compress the Opening Acts sound. Firstly, this is to ensure that you will be able to get a ticket for the event that you want to go to.

New Year, old fare? Don’t despair!

1326621434 14 New Year, old fare? Dont despair!

Monday, January 02, 2012

PARIS, France — So the summer of 2012 represents 50 years since our forefathers rose up and shook off the rather oppressive, patronising, colonising shackles of Mother England.

Then in waves we gave up beatifying and genuflecting to the Union Jack. The clipped British accent was no longer the reference for sophistication and civilisation. The British attire even became synonymous with a touch of brain freeze. Then, inevitably it seems, the Queen’s English was dethroned by Uncle Sam’s perceived linguistic creativity and modernity.

Fifty years may seem like an eternity to some, and as long-time Jamaican resident Lord Laro so aptly stated: “The only kind of ‘ism’ we know ’bout down here is sufferism.” Under the weight of that impression, we may be erroneously tempted to impatience with the pace of our development.

The political rhetoric may strike us as a constant stream of the same old, same old. The unacceptable levels of violence may be too much to bear. It may appear that the smart Jamaicans, the creative ones among us, have thrown in the towel. We may seriously become discouraged, wondering if the island has its future solidly behind it. However, when we find ourselves in the throes of regret for our paradise lost we should perhaps look at what we as a nation have already accomplished and what it really means for our future.

If Breeze blow up a woman’s dress…

Some of us tend to cringe, and rightly so, from the one dimensional portrait painted of the island. Jamaica – the island of weed-smoking bobo dreads, the land of endemic violence, of rough and tough dancehall self-made artistes barely able to string words together coherently in an interview. The land of the bandooloo artistes, where the athletes run fast, but curiously the comical, commonplace catchphrase “soon come” means don’t hold your breath for service brethren! However true some of these labels might be, there are other little-known, rarely trumpeted accomplishments which should not be forgotten.

There’s nothing ’bout that in the foreign press

Indeed, how many of us are aware that the great Marcus Mosiah Garvey inspired the civil rights icons Martin Luther King Jr, Nelson Mandela and Malcolm X? In 2009, Newton Marshall from St Ann went on record as the first black musher to complete in the world’s longest dogsled race, the Yukon Quest. In 2010 Marshall became the first Caribbean musher to finish Iditarod — the 1100-mile Alaskan race. Out of a field of 71, he finished the race in a respectable 47th position. In fact, Jamaica is the only country in the world to beat the USA in the Men’s 4x400m in the Olympics. Not surprising when you think that we have won more medals per capita in track and field than any other country in the world.

Like our scholars have sat and passed every test…

In the fields of politics and academia Jamaica is synonymous with high standard and tenacity of spirit. We were, indeed, among the first Caribbean countries to gain independence. The acclaimed Caribbean novelist Jamaica Kincaid whose real name is Elaine Richardson, was born in Antigua, but explained that she settled on the name “Jamaica” because this island best represented the complex nature of the Caribbean identity. Consider this, for two consecutive years the Norman Manley Law School has won the World Human Rights Moot Court Competition, beating much lauded Ivy League schools from the world over. At 12 years old, Jodian Maxwell became the first foreigner in almost a century to win the Scripps National Spelling Bee Championship. Our National Hero Norman Manley held the distinction of being the first non-British individual to be inducted in the British Hall Of Fame for lawyers.

In the field of chess, Jamaica has been competing in international competitions for over 30 years. In 1976, at only 16 years old, Sheldon Wong earned a brilliancy prize for his second round win against Israel’s Nir Grinberg. In 1984 at the Thessaloniki Chess Olympiad in Greece, national master John Powell won a silver medal, while in 1990 in Yugoslavia Christine Bennett won a silver medal.

Politically, we are groundbreakers. Have you heard of Kamala Harris? She’s the daughter of the Jamaican professor and economist Donald Harris. On January 3, 2011 she became California’s first female and first minority attorney general. Then there is Colin Powell — whose parents are Jamaicans — the retired four-star general in the United States Army. He was also the Secretary of State from 2001 to 2005, the first African American to hold that position, and he also scored another first in his capacity of Joint Chiefs of Staff. We can also stake a bit of a claim on Susan E Rice, who was named by Barack Obama as the US ambassador to the United Nations. After all, both her parents, who have excelled in academia, are offsprings of Jamaican immigrants.

The Jamaican community in the UK spans four generations and is a well established group which consists of over 800,000 individuals. These Jamaicans have also made significant inroads in politics. Observer columnist Diane Julie Abbott, for example, has been a Member of the British Parliament for two terms. She was the very first black woman to be elected to the House of Commons. Lord John Taylor of Warwick, who was born to Jamaican parents, was also a parliamentarian.

In the field of entertainment, but off the beaten path of reggae, dancehall and hip hop, there are the actresses Sheryl Lee Ralph and Shari Belafonte, model Tyson Craig Beckford and the inimitable, androgynously eccentric Grace Jones. The Jamaica brand has also inspired countless directors and lyricists from Jay-Z to Rihanna, to Stephen Bishop (writer of the hit song On and On). Even, the great Lena Horne was nominated for a Tony Award for her role in the musical Jamaica.

So let us believe that for the New Year, like our indigenous Giant Swallowtail – the second largest butterfly in the world, we will rise again my people, because as you see, we are standing on the shoulders of giants!

Reject homosexual agenda, Miller urges Jamaica

FIREBRAND preacher Rev Al Miller yesterday urged Jamaicans to reject what he called “the homosexual agenda” when they go to the polls tomorrow.

Miller made public his very strong position in a letter to the editor in which he also called on religious and political leaders to speak out on the issue which has marked the final days of the election campaign.

Rev Miller was among the first church leaders last week to voice opposition to PNP leader Portia Simpson Miller’s announcement that a Government led by her would review the buggery law.

Simpson Miller, in responding to a question in the National Leadership Debate last week Tuesday, said she would initiate a conscience vote on the controversial issue in the Parliament and clearly stated that she was not opposed to having gays in a Cabinet led by her, adding that she would appoint people based on their ability.

Expressing concern about the buggery law review proposal last week, Rev Miller said: “I am disappointed that we are still insisting to go back in that direction, because the matter was dealt with in the amended Bill of Rights earlier this year.”

Yesterday, in his letter, Miller reiterated his opposition to having homosexuals serve in the Cabinet, arguing that to do so “would be to declare homosexual behaviour as normal and right”.

Homosexuality, he said, “challenges human existence and the true family values and culture to which all Jamaicans should aspire. There are also implications for the institution of marriage and the education of our children”.

Miller said that while he rejected any notion to deny the homosexual minority their human and national rights, he rejected the gay agenda of acceptance of homosexual activity as normal and right.

“We therefore call on all Jamaicans islandwide to use the vote to reject the homosexual agenda,” he said. “We also call on Jamaica’s principled church and political leadership to make heard your voices now.”

I've been using concert for some time but not this seriously. Black Sabbath launched their self-titled debut studio album on Friday 13th February, 1970 and nearly immediately, evolved a cult following in both Britain and America. The sellers can are also not to be trusted every time as they might sell fake tickets to you and of course keep the money with themselves. That's only when a radio online becomes a music site where this gets silly and despite everything, this post is going to take a close look at free internet music. I am going to have to agree with that hypothesis and I have to say, this is a serious enigma.
